Sage Green CIC aims to facilitate people to access the outdoors, enjoy learning in our market garden and connect with the environment to enhance wellbeing.
We provide short programmes and courses for half day; full day or over a period of time.
All the courses are held on the Sage Green CIC site which is inside the walled garden at Powderham Castle. It has proven to be an excellent venue for both horiculture and the willow courses. Many of our courses are based in the Sage Green CIC market garden or in the Victorian Glasshouse.

Grow Veg, Grow Well
Grow Veg Grow Well – A City and Guild Level 1 Practical Horticulture awarded through Bicton College, Devon. This is a 10 week course held in Sage Green CIC Market Garden. This is a course for people who are just starting their own growing food journey or for those who have taken on an allotment and want to know more about growing.
Willow Weaving
Willow is a beautiful natural material with which to weave with. At Sage Green CIC we run courses to make animal sculptures or beautiful baskets. These course are suitable for beginners as well as those who have experience of willow weaving.
